——- In The Machine.
Imagine a world where paper money no longer exists. All financial institutions are no longer in physical form.
Everything is digital.
Iterations of scientific ideology and applications have been integrated into your peripherals such as mobile devices and autonomous vehicles. Data is no longer accessible to you via the internet by the stroke of a key. That form of tech is obsolete as well as restricted. Information is given by electrical impulses as instantaneous as thought via a cloud connection to your brain made possible by a technological breakthrough dubbed Mind’s-Eye.
The singularity once thought to be only an idea of what was a possibility has now become reality.
This causes me great sadness to think that there was once a time where we all strived to be human
-but now we only long to become one with the machines..
As bleek of a description that may have been for a dystopian future - maybe we have already arrived. The more we connect to these technologies. The more we disconnect from humanity.
From each other.
An invitation to disintegration of sorts. That we have accepted with open arms. But why?
Here’s why.
The accessibility to information that our devices provide us is astounding. There is no longer the necessity to retain information because it is at our fingertips. It as an extension of our brain. Our intellect is being manipulated through the confines of a search engine that by design has parameters. Our brain is not meant to be controlled in such a way. Human intellect is not meant to be confined or defined by a search engine.
The relationship is parasitic as well as unnatural.
These search engines act as corrals to human thought.
They impregnate our thought processes. We are being programmed every single day -
and we are overdosing on stimuli.
Human Interrupted
Social media is engineered in such a way to dissect, distract, destroy and detract you from relationships in the real world. It was ultimately created to indulge in tribalism and jealousy.
Not only is it a distortion in our perception of how other human beings perceive each other.
It is a skewed flaw in human nature that is being exploited in order to ensue division socially, mentally, financially, spiritually and most importantly cognitively.
Think about how we interact.
We bleed text messages onto each other to substitute real communication.
Digest that for a moment.
Do you find it weird when someone is calling you.
That is no accident you have been programmed that way. Over a period of time you have been conditioned to realize that the thought of a human voice is so unbearable you’d rather send a text..
That human voice is what connects us to each other.
They have broken that connection. Once someone only becomes an avatar, a symbol or a group of letters on your device. They represent an inanimate object. Inanimate objects do not have feelings, relatable thoughts or any level of personification. These are all things that do not make a up a human being.
But why ? What is the reasoning behind this?
Once again you are being conditioned to realize the only thoughts and feelings that matter when you are communicating online - are your own.
That is another level of separation and to a certain extent in my eyes self induced sociopathic behavior through artificial environmental conditioning.
But wtf do I know..
In closing.
Where do we go from here? Well it starts with the individual making choices. Choices to disconnect. Disconnecting from an artificial world. A world that is constructed with one goal in mind. To disconnect us from each other. But I don’t believe everyone wants to unplug. I think there are many people that are happy to be asleep. For them i’ve written this little poem:
Close my eyes, I want to dream -
About spending time with the little ghosts in the machine..
